Piyush Ranjan Biswal is a final year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Rourkela. He is currently working as a Software Developer at Oracle in their OHI unit, where he is responsible for developing innovative applications for health insurance companies worldwide. Piyush has a keen interest in Software Development and Deep Learning and is passionate about finding practical solutions to real-world problems. He previously interned at Optum UHG, where he underwent training in Machine Learning and applications. In addition, he has worked on several projects during his final year at college, including Traffic Sign Recognition using Deep Learning and Building Damage Detection using Wavelet Transformation & Convolutional Neural Networks. Piyush is proficient in C, C++, Python, SQL, HTML/CSS, and PyTorch. He also has working knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, MongoDB, Android, and Google Cloud Platform. Apart from his professional interests, Piyush loves reading novels, clicking pictures, and playing video games. Piyush has previously worked as a Technical Coordinator at Spawn, where he organized regular sessions to familiarize students with various concepts of Data Structures and Algorithms. He completed training in various Machine Learning concepts on the Percipio platform as part of the virtual internship process at Optum. Piyush's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Rourkela and Matriculation and Intermediate degrees from D.A.V. Public School, Chandrasekharpur. Overall, Piyush has 1.79 years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, Deep Learning, SQL, ML, Neural Networks, PHP, MongoDB, Pytorch, Python, Android, and JavaScript.
